We are delighted to invite you and members of your Association to join us in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the formation of The Royal Regiment of Scotland on Saturday, 28th March 2026.
While the main anniversary events will take place in Edinburgh, 7 SCOTS C Company, in collaboration with the Highlands and Islands Branch of the SCOTS Association, will host a supplementary event in Inverness to mark this significant milestone.
The day’s events will be held in two parts:
1. Gathering and Service. A gathering and commemorative service will take place at The Inverness War Memorial to honour the Regiment’s history and pay tribute to those who have served.
Families of the fallen, whose names are inscribed on the war memorial, will also be invited to attend this poignant service. The service will begin at 1100hrs and will be followed by light refreshments at the Inverness Army Reserve Centre.
2. Social Gathering. In the evening a social gathering will be held at the Masonic Club, Inverness, where attendees can reconnect, share memories, and celebrate this special occasion together.

This event is open to all who are currently serving or have served with The Royal Regiment of Scotland, its antecedent associations, associated Territorial Army Battalions, and the Army Cadet Force (ACF).
